meet Carl

Elder

​

Carl serves as an elder and leader of our Serve Team ministries. Carl was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, and attended The University of Akron, where he received an Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for Goodrich Aerospace Corporation for thirty-nine years as an engineering designer, creating circuit boards and deicing systems for aircraft. Carl and his wife, Alicia, were married in 1972. They have two sons and two daughters, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The Hammett’s have several years of experience in music ministry leadership at different churches.  In his spare time, Carl enjoys golfing and pickle ball with his wife. He also enjoys building handmade miniature houses, listening to a variety of music genres, working with word games, and playing the piano.
